Back Orders Virginia State Sales Tax The state of Virginia insists upon participating in our transaction. If you are a resident of Virginia, you will be charged Virginia sales tax. The tax applies to the merchandise as well as all shipping and handling charges. Minimum Order There is no minimum order size. We are grateful for all your business. Ordering from Us Please use the efficient, secure shopping cart on this web site to place your order. The alternative is to print the order form and send it to us in the mail. Our mailing address will be given on the order form. We are sorry that we are not able to take orders by phone or fax at this time. We do not take C.O.D. orders. When giving your delivery address for the order, keep in mind that plants simply do not tolerate sitting on the porch all day in the heat or cold. You may want to have your order delivered to an address where there is someone to receive your package, be it a work address or a neighbor's house. Ways to Pay We are thrilled that you want to send us money. Your credit cards will be processed at checkout by PayPal, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept money orders and personal checks. If you are paying by personal check, your order will not ship until the check has cleared. Please use a check that has your name and current address printed on it. Starter checks and second party checks just make us nervous and will be returned to you. If your check bounces, you will be charged a $30 returned check fee. If you are mailing your payment to us, you should be aware that it can take as much as seven to ten days for it to reach us. We are in a very rural area and first class mail processing is "casual." Where We Ship Our Plants We can send our plants to delivery addresses within the contiguous United States. We can not ship plants to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO addresses, or other countries. When We Ship Our Plants Unless delayed by extreme weather or our attendance at a flower show, we ship out plants on Mondays and Tuesdays. This prevents them from sitting in postal purgatory over the weekend and the plants are happier for it. We can not safely ship your plants when it is less than 35 degrees or more than 93 degrees. This means that your order could be held during winter months. If we have had to hold your order for three weeks or more, we will email you prior to shipping. How We Ship Our Plants Our experience has led us to choose the United States Postal Service Priority Mail as our method of shipping. We are in a very rural area and have found Priority Mail service to be reliable and reasonably priced. While Priority Mail service is not guaranteed to be delivered in two days, we have found that it usually is and it would be unusual for it to take more than three days to receive your order, but that performance standard is dependent upon the receiving post office. Another benefit for using the USPS system is that your package can be delivered to post office boxes and do not require a street address. If you have signed up to receive news and information from us, you can expect an email once or twice a month. We are not planning to flood your inbox with needless chatter. You may unsubscribe at any time. Order StatusTo obtain the status of an order, enter the confirmation number and click Go!. Care to comment on your experience? Our website is new and we'd like to hear how we might improve. Contact us. Thanks. | |
