Streptocarpus Bristol’s Party Boy Streptocarpus Bristol’s Party Boy
The Bristol's Party Boy (Robinson) blossoms are a lavender blue with a pure white throat and random fantasy markings on the petals in both rose pink and white. Of course, there is always a joyful surprise factor to the fantasy. It could just as easily be rose pink with splashes of lavender blue and white, or any other variation the plant chooses to paint. This is why fantasy streps are so much fun.

The Bristol's Party Girl (Robinson) blossoms are a deep violet blue with a butter yellow throat and random fantasy markings on the petals in a baby-girl pink. This is a really fun plant to grow because fantasy blossoms are always a surprise, never blooming the same way twice.

There are slightly darker threads that radiate out of the throat. This plant is a fairly compact grower and quite a good bloomer.

Streptocarpus Bristol’s Very Berry Streptocarpus Bristol’s Very Berry
The blossoms on this strep are large and eye-catching. They are semi-double with slightly ruffled petals. Bristol's Very Berry (Robinson) has a complex coloration of hot pink that transforms into a lovely warm coral at the petals' edge. The blossom's color reminds me of hibiscus which reminds me of the Caribbean which reminds me of frozen rum drinks. Wow. It's a tropical vacation in a pot.

Streptocarpus Cherry Pie Streptocarpus Cherry Pie
The Cherry Pie (Sorano) blossoms are big and showy, as much as 3 inches across. The blossoms are cherry pink and the creamy throat is heavily overlaid with mahogany to black threads spilling out onto the apron. When this plant is grown well, it is everything that a strep should be.

Streptocarpus Emily Streptocarpus Emily
The blossoms are a pale pink/lilac color with a very large butter yellow eye. Emily is a Dibley's hybrid and was introduced in 2002. It is similar to the streptocarpus Charlotte, but the petal color is more delicate. It is nice to have both the Emily and the Charlotte in your collection because they make a subtle and beautiful pair.

Streptocarpus Inky Fingers Streptocarpus Inky Fingers
The Inky Fingers (Rose) blossoms are lilac with royal purple threads flowing out of a purple throat onto the lower lobes. This is a dependable bloomer, and that's what I'm looking for in a streptocarpus.

Streptocarpus Jealous Heart Streptocarpus Jealous Heart
The Jealous Heart (Sorano) blossoms are blush pink; not too light, not too dark, but just the right touch of pink. The throat is flushed with dark purple that spills out onto the lower petals and becomes delicate netting. This hybrid is a dependable bloomer and stays a reasonable size.

Streptocarpus Maasen's White Streptocarpus Maasen's White
The Maasen's White has large, pure white blossoms with a discreet, just barely showing, butter yellow throat. The Maasen's White is named for a Dutch grower who was instrumental in growing and hybridizing streptocarpus in the 1960s and 1970s. It was the first pure white streptocarpus and is an albino form of the Constant Nymph. It is one of the easiest pure white streps to grow, being fairly forgiving. Once established, the Maasen's White flowers abundantly.
