Paphiopedilum Fumi's Delight 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS
This is a division of our awarded Paph Fumi's Delight 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS. The Fumi's Delight is a hybrid of two species, Paph armeniacum X Paph micranthum. At the 2005 New York International Orchid Show, a six-pack of our Fumi's Delight did not make it the 40-foot walk from the storage room to our sales table before every one of them had been purchased! This plant always creates an impressive stir.
The Fumi's Delight is a parvisepalum orchid, a subgenus under Paphiopedilum. This subgenus is characterized by tessellated foliage, and stoloniferous offshoots which emerge from the base of the crown. The Paph Fumi's Delight 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS is particularly vigorous and throws multiple offshoots over time.
This division is in a 4-inch pot.
PRICE: $85.00

Paphiopedilum Gloria Naugle
The Paph Gloria Naugle produces large, strongly colored flowers (7 - 9 inches across) on a relatively compact plant that has an average leaf span of only 8 - 10 inches. The flowers have a pale pink background color overlaid with heavy stripes in a deep, clear rose although some say it is deep purple. I believe the color has too much pink/red in it to be dubbed "purple."
The Gloria Naugle is a parvisepalum orchid, a subgenus under Paphiopedilum. This subgenus is characterized by tessellated foliage, and stoloniferous offshoots which emerge from the base of the crown.
This plant wants medium light, but if you remember to do it, it would appreciate a little brighter light than typical in the early spring. If you don't remember, the plant won't complain.
This is a blooming size plant in a 2.5" pot.
PRICE: $35.00

Paphiopedilum Joyce Hasegawa
The Paph Joyce Hasegawa is a beautiful primary hybrid made with the Paph emersonii and the Paph delenatii. The foliage is mottled and the flower is large, almost appearing translucent, like ivory colored fine bone china. The pouch is a pale blush of pink.
This paph really enjoys a shot of calcium and magnesium supplement every so often but if you forget to give it, the plant won't complain.
This plant is in a 2.5-inch pot.
PRICE: $25.00

Paphiopedilum Lady Isabel
The Paph Lady Isabel is a multifloral primary hybrid of two Borneo natives, the rothschildianum and the stonei. This plant is easy to grow but needs some elbow room as it gets to be approximately 30 inches across when full sized. The large flowers are clearly marked with bittersweet chocolate stripes on ivory petals and a pouch of deep mahogany rose. It is stunning.
This plant is blooming size and is in a 5-inch pot.
PRICE: $75.00

Phalaenopsis amboenensis (species) in 3" Pot
This is a seedling from crosses that Patrick Brennan has made from selected parents over the past 20 years. If you've attended orchid shows on the East Coast in the last ten years, it is very likely that you've seen the parents of this plant in show competition.
There are several wonderful attributes to this plant. It's a summer bloomer, it is fragrant producing a lightly spicy aroma, and it has a lovely flower. The blossoms have a strong star shape, and are creamy yellow with mahogany red splashes. The blooms are held above sturdy, medium height spikes. This is a nice plant to have in your collection for those summer months when blooming orchids are few and far between.
This is an established plant in a 3 inch pot.
PRICE: $15.00

Phalaenopsis Shenandoah Anu (Limited Quantity)
This is a primary hybrid, made of Phal bastianii X Phal modesta. It is our hybrid, named by us. We were surprised to find that this hybrid had not been made and named before. We love this little guy. It is sturdy and adorable, two lovely traits it shares with its parents. We have very few of these right now and this cross is brand, spanking new.
This seedling is in a 3-inch pot.

Phalaenopsis Shenandoah Spots 'Brennan's Orchids' HCC/AOS X Phal Carmela's Wild Thing 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS in 3" Pot
The photo shown is of the Phal Shenandoah Spots 'Brennan's Orchids' which is a great multifloral plant. We crossed it with the Phal Carmela's Wild Thing 'Brennan's Orchids' and you can see a photo of that blossom under the listing for a sib cross of it. In any case, we expect spectacular spotted flowers, and boatloads of them from this cross. I can't wait.
This seedling is happily growing in a 3 inch pot and is approximately 12 months from blooming.
