Streptocarpus Emily
The blossoms are a pale pink/lilac color with a very large butter yellow eye. Emily is a Dibley's hybrid and was introduced in 2002. It is similar to the streptocarpus Charlotte, but the petal color is more delicate. It is nice to have both the Emily and the Charlotte in your collection because they make a subtle and beautiful pair.

Streptocarpus Inky Fingers
The Inky Fingers (Rose) blossoms are lilac with royal purple threads flowing out of a purple throat onto the lower lobes. This is a dependable bloomer, and that's what I'm looking for in a streptocarpus.

Streptocarpus Jealous Heart
The Jealous Heart (Sorano) blossoms are blush pink; not too light, not too dark, but just the right touch of pink. The throat is flushed with dark purple that spills out onto the lower petals and becomes delicate netting. This hybrid is a dependable bloomer and stays a reasonable size.

Streptocarpus Maasen's White
The Maasen's White has large, pure white blossoms with a discreet, just barely showing, butter yellow throat. The Maasen's White is named for a Dutch grower who was instrumental in growing and hybridizing streptocarpus in the 1960s and 1970s. It was the first pure white streptocarpus and is an albino form of the Constant Nymph. It is one of the easiest pure white streps to grow, being fairly forgiving. Once established, the Maasen's White flowers abundantly.

Streptocarpus Marna
The Marna is from the Oglevee Bavarian Belle series. It has rich violet blue flowers that contrast with a golden yellow throat. It is a vigorous grower.

Streptocarpus Ocean Rain
The Ocean Rain (Ford) blossom is a semi-double lilac purple lovely with purple netting shot through the petals. The throat is snow white with two yellow stripes in the center. This plant is just very pretty, very springtime in mood, very fresh. I do like this plant.

Streptocarpus Raspberry Truffles
The Raspberry Truffles (Lyon) blossoms are large and a not-to-be-missed color. They are hot, rich, raspberry pink with a white throat laid with burgundy threads. A nice feature of this hybrid is that it has relatively compact foliage. That's a real plus when your plant collection is ballooning out of its allocated space, as so often happens.

The Shenandoah Premiere (Brennan) is one of our own hybrids. The blossoms are a clear violet color with royal purple threads that spill out of the throat. This plant is named Shenandoah Premiere because it was our very first strep hybrid.

Streptocarpus Shenandoah Something Special
This hybrid was introduced in 2007. The blossoms are semi-double, cotton candy pink with rose pink netting. The throat is snowy white. Our own cross, the Shenandoah Something Special (Brennan) is truly just that, something really special. As it gets established it doesn't just bloom, it puts out a bouquet of blossoms.

Streptocarpus Shenandoah Sophie
The Shenandoah Sophie (Brennan) is one of our own hybrids. It was originally introduced in the summer of 2006. The Sophie has rounded blossoms. This round face feature is known as actinomorphic flowers and is the result of a recessive gene. We have gotten the Shenandoah Sophie to consistently present its blossoms this way and we find it to be charmingly different from other streptocarpus. The Sophie is medium pink with a darker pink halo around a pure white throat. I am very fond of this hybrid for two reasons. One, it is different and I like different. Two, it was named in honor of a beautiful, big-hearted, joyful girl, Sophie our yellow lab, who is no longer with us.
